HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT (DKN)
Primary purpose of job
Provides field operations plants and associated facilities with accurate and consistent specialized expertise related to safety
management and ensure that safe work practices and relevant procedures are established, maintained and executed in
operational and non-operational areas. Supervise the planning and coordination of the day-to-day activities of the safety
officers and safety technicians at work site inspections, spot checks and spot auditing.
Responsible to ensure proper safety coverage to maintenance, shutdown and turnaround works including site visits and
brings the findings such as unsafe work practices and potential risk situations, to the attention of the management
concerned and recommends measures for improvement and mitigation.
Responsible for support of safety policies and programs.
Responsible to ensure the participation and provision of specialist safety input during incident investigations to identify root
causes and provide specialist and procedural enhancements to prevent recurrence.
Experience & Skills
Minimum of 10 years experience in oil and gas environment.
Education
Bachelor degree in engineering/HSE management.
Diploma / certificate in safety or risk management
NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, PSM
