Procurement Specialist- Temporary
Are you our next Procurement Specialist?
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team, supporting various companies and divisions within the 888-WH Group. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing procurement expertise and support to business units and stakeholders. This includes sourcing, negotiating, and advising on a range of procurement arrangements to secure high-quality contracts with suppliers. You will work closely with stakeholders in areas such as HR, Professional Services (e.g., Legal Fees), Maintenance, Facilities Management, and Logistics. This dynamic role offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to work both in the office and remotely (from home) during the week.
At 888 you will enjoy a hybrid work model, combining in-office work with remote work (work from home) during the week.
This position is Temporary for 12 months.
Your role
- Issue and approve purchase orders for contracts, services, proposals, and other projects as they arise.
- Conduct negotiations to secure high-quality supply contracts. You will review and negotiate terms and conditions for third-party suppliers, provide guidance on managing associated risks, and strengthen supplier relationships.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to provide effective support and advice during RFP and competitive tender processes. You will also work with other business units and divisions on procurement activities.
- Ensure that service arrangements comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and the company's requirements.
- Work closely with the internal legal teams to ensure timely completion of contracts.
Your Skills
- You have a desirable minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement.
- You have excellent proficiency in English, both oral and written.
- You have experience in sourcing and negotiating long-term service arrangements, outsourcing agreements, and contracts.
- You have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, for effective stakeholder engagement.
- You can handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- You have strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- You have proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
- You can perform with a sense of urgency and multitask.
You have a major advantage if:
You have prior experience working with the Oracle system, especially with the PR/PO processes (ideal but can be trained).
