As an inside sales specialist in the technology consulting and managed services industry you are responsible for selling IT products and services to potential clients. You will work within the company's sales team to generate leads, qualify prospects, and close deals. You will work closely with the regional management team as well as marketing and sales teams spread across the globe.

This is currently a hybrid role reporting to our office in Berlin, but this can also be a remote role from anywhere in Germany for the right candidate.

As a German speaker, you may be tasked with targeting German-speaking prospects and clients. Some of the primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Generating leads: Conducting research and outreach to identify potential clients and gather contact information.
  • Qualifying prospects: Assessing whether potential clients are a good fit for the company's products and services, and determining whether they have a genuine interest in purchasing.
  • Communicating with prospects: Building relationships with prospects through email, phone calls, and other forms of communication, and educating them about the company's products and services.
  • Closing deals: Negotiating terms of sale and finalizing contracts with clients.
  • Meeting sales quotas: Working to achieve or exceed monthly or quarterly sales targets.

Skills Required:

To be successful as an inside sales specialist in the technology consulting and managed services industry, you will need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a deep understanding of the products and services you are selling.

In addition, fluency in German will be essential for communicating with German-speaking prospects and clients.

Fluency in English will also be needed as Visionet is a global consulting company and you will have to work with teams across Asia, Middle East and North Americas.


Other skills that may be valuable in this role include:

  • Knowledge of the IT industry: Understanding of the latest trends and developments in the technology consulting and managed services industry.
  • Technical aptitude: Familiarity with IT products and services, and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Sales acumen: Ability to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Organizational skills: Ability to manage a large pipeline of prospects and clients.
  • Interpersonal skills: Ability to build relationships with prospects and clients, and work effectively within a sales team.

Other Requirements:

  • Location: Berlin (preferred) OR anywhere in Germany with monthly visits to Berlin
  • Visa: Must have the right to work and live in Germany
  • Language: Must be a native German speaker, and fluent in English
