Job Summary:
The Maintenance Officer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the lounge facility. This includes managing and coordinating all maintenance activities, repairs, and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair equipment and facilities:
- Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, and other building systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems and make necessary repairs.
- Work with contractors and vendors to ensure equipment and systems are maintained and repaired as needed.
Conduct regular inspections:
- Conduct regular inspections of the lounge facility to identify any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Maintain a record of all maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to the Floor/Lounge Manager.
Ensure safety:
- Maintain safety at the lounge facility
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of all patrons and employees.
Manage inventory and supplies:
- Maintain an inventory of all equipment and supplies, including spare parts, tools, and cleaning supplies.
- Order new equipment and supplies as needed and maintain accurate records of all purchases.
Coordinate maintenance activities:
- Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments and vendors to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Work with the Lounge/Floor Manager to develop and implement a maintenance schedule that minimizes downtime and maximizes efficiency.
Qualifications:
- BSc/BA in facility management or related field.
- Experience in maintenance or facilities management preferred.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of building systems and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
